I posted this on the message board and thought I'd post it here as well. I have no brake lights (bulbs good/contacts cleaned) Switch had 3 wires (all rotten and not useable all the way to the loom).

What year is your car? My '72 MK IV has only two separate wires going to the light switch. But the 1500's DO have three wires: One supplies the power, the second is connected to it and feeds power to
