Hi. My experience has been a bad one with the silicon brake fluid. I switched over a few years ago. Within a year I had to rebuild both master cylinders, because the seal spoiled and started to leak.

I have installed silicone fluid in four of my MGs. It works ferfectly. This goes back 20 years. There are some tricks to set up the Master cyl. Esp. in T types and MGAs. Contact me for further info.
