Matt Are both screws that hold the drum in place still there? I lost one of the screws on one side of the car and had a similar experience as you - put a new screw in and presto no rubbing no noise.\

If the hub and drum could move I would expect any wear marks to be at the top, not the bottom, the weight of the car tending to move the top of the drum in. The screws are really only there to stop t
