- Since I have to bleed my brake and clutch system (rebuilt brake and clutch MC and new reservour), and I have no idea what kind of fluid is in there now, do I go with DOT 3 or 4? What is the differenc

- DOT 3 and DOT 4 are basically the same stuff: glycol-based brake fluid. The only difference is that DOT4 has a higher boiling point. They can be safely mixed. Just be careful you don't mix silicone-b

- Should be no problem, unless the system already has DOT 5 silicone. Even then it will work well enough, but a mixture gives you the disadvantages of both, with none of the advantages of either. Like
