- DO NOT PUT 5606 aircraft hydraulic fluid in your car!!! You will replace the whole system if you do as it eats the rubber used in cars. Someone I know did this in his BMW and it was very expensive. F

- Dot spec tests the brake fluid for boiling points. Brakes transfer much heat and fluid boils, the pressure changes. MIL spec 5606 fluid & skydrol (aircraft fluids) are not usable for auto systems. I
