My local auto parts store put in a waste oil heater this past year and they accept oil, gear lube and brake fluid to operate it. Maybe you can locate a place with one of these heaters in your area t

DON'T do this. mixing the oil with brake fluid makes it virtually impossible to recycle. The recycling places like as little contamination as possible. Don't know what else to do, other than throw it

Uh, why not just call Midas/Goodyear/other local brake place and see what they do with it. Maybe they can take for a small fee? I can't see how it's safe to dump down the toilet...... Mike

Agreed, seem odd any recycler would suggest mixing it with the oil. NO! Sadly it takes very little to contiminate the water supply. Brake fluid is really a nasty chemical, not sure why but that tid
