When Triumph put the longer axles and swing spring in the back of the Spit, the brake plumbing was changed slightly. The '74 kit should fit all 1500 Spits. mjb.

I have some experience with a '74 and '76. The lines themselves were the same. However, the threads on the nuts on the ends of the lines were different. The nuts of the '74 lines did not fit into the
