Okay now that I've got my '77 1500 running well, time to turn some attention to some of the other systems in need of repair... mainly... the brakes. They are not working well. I have to mash down the

Your map light works good, huh? :-) Pedal effort is high with non-power disc brakes. Why not pull the back drums off, check for cylinder leaks, clean & lube the adjusters, and reassemble? That way th

replacing the rubber brake lines ($80 for all 4, even in braided) rebuilding the M/C ($10? as I recall) replacing the rear wheel cylinders (about $20 each... It wasn't worth rebuilding them for me.)
