Had this problem on a Scimitar (same suspension/brakes as a TR). It turned out that the calipers were incorrectly shimmed and weren't central over the discs. The cure was to remove the calipers and

If you are concerned about the gap between the MC and the booster try this: back off the two nuts two turns. This will add 1/12 inch to the gap. If this fixes the problem then you know what to do. I
