That was due to some fortuitous scheduling that gave me the last run! I knew that since everyone else had cones on their fast runs all I had to do was slow down drive carefully and make a clean run.

Williams' book recommends mineral oil for initial break in of a new engine. For those with the book, is he suggesting mineral oil for each of the oil changes through 6,000 miles? (see page 94). I rea
