I had my dash apart to clean up the gages over the winter. While I was doing this, I bypassed the rheostat by putting both wires on the same terminal. Somebody on the list had advised this. Man! This

Thanks for passing along the tip. I have my dash out now to do a clean-up and some re-veneer work and was worried about taking care of the rheostat as I remove the dimmer knob. Sounds like I don't n
