- Sprite (MG Midget) ratios were 4.2:1 for the small engines and 3.9:1 for the 1275s. There are heaps of other ratios available as well: Morris Minor, Austin A30 /35/40 etc. that range from at least 5.

- There are many places for Brit car parts. Moss Motors of course is perhaps the biggest but in that you want just one for your project, I'd do a search for a used one from a EnFord, they also came in
