What caused it to spring away ? Rust ? Accident damage ? To fix it you can clamp it or use self tapping screws to hold it in position. Then plug weld it (Mig/TIG) back together in much the same way t

I actually thought about that. But, my version was: Install a bad bonnet and fenders, drive out, replace, drop the bad stuff at a recycler's and scoot back home.
