The period speedwell bonnets were also available in fibreglass. Tony Bennetto of the Bugeye Barn has what is possibly one of the original fibreglass ones. Or at least he had it a couple of years ago.

I'm not sure the Sebring style bonnet was ever produced in fiberglass, or in any significant numbers. I think it was actually a metal Bugeye bonnet, modified as part of John Sprinzel's Sebring Sprite

Just a suggestion. Many of the larger Antique shops and wholesales import containers of furniture from England frequently. You "might" entice one of these folks to include your bonnet in the shipment
