Eriks - if your car is Australian assembled CKD it differs from US & UK cars in that it won't have a chassis plate under the air cleaners but a more detailed one including colour and engine number on

I forgot to mention in my original email that this car doesn't have any identity plates etc.. attached to it anywhere. Hence the owners dilema. However, from Peter's description it looks like this is
