- List member "Hayseed Dave" has run partners with Wayne, so he would know how to contact him. I actually believe that the Buick powered lakester was owned and driven by Don Wheeler, another "Hayseed"

- Chris Lance and list. Wayne runs a blown flathead out of Lexington Nebraska. His old racing partner Don Wheeler, of Parker CO, runs the straight 8 Buick. Look it up in the rule book as "Salt Lick". I
