Bump steer is adjusted by changing the relationship between the steering rack and the steering arms. On the Midget, you could do that by shimming the rack up or down, or by bending the steering arms

I guess what I was trying to say is that the change in direction over larger bumps encountered by only one wheel is more pronounced then when the car had stock springs. May be due to stiffer springs
