I tried by having a machine shop do this by aligning in a jig and using 2 different reamers but they were off by just a couple thousandth's so I had to purchase new bushings and sent to Merryman Modi

Can I assume that you mean the kingpin bushings? if so, you either have to have the tool, find a shop that has it, or find a very good machinist that can do it in two steps, which is very hard to get

Rather than using a reamer, have the bushings honed at your local auto machine shop. If you don't have a press to put in the new bushings, just take the swivel axles, swivel pins and bushings in and

Some confusion here. The >trunnion< bushings (rubber bushings at the intersection of the top of the kingpin and the outer end of the shock arm) don't need to be reamed. The ones that need to be ream

If you mean the kingpin bushes, I just went through this go around. One machine shop, who has done good work for me in the past, threw up their hands when they saw that the bushes were two different
