- Well We cranked up the C motor tonight.. Sounds fine but the Headers started Glowing... and to be honest I think we were just to Tired to come up with the correct answer as to what our Problem is....

- Sounds to lean to me too. Covering the carb richens the mixture just like a choke would and also you said it sounded crisp. A motor running rich will have soft mushy sound. Just my two cents worth. B
