I think that the loose solenoid just prevented a good ground (or in your case a good positive) so the solenoid wasn't getting enough amperage to engage the starter. Hope that's all it was.

It was just a single click that eminated from the solenoid Hope it was this, have cured that Hope it is not this (re; upcoming trip) Will ask my mechanic, do you know of any way to check that? Ring g
