Take one of the dust seal rings down to your local parts store ... look for the bins of loose core (freeze) plugs, and match up a plug to the dust seal ring. Use the plug and a c-clamp to press the r

When I did mine, I used a thin (1/2") piece of wood slightly wider than the seal retaining ring so as to get an even force all round the ring, when re-inserting it. Light taps with a mallet in the c

Find someone that has a 3/4 drive socket that matches the diameter of the seal. Square the seal on the caliper & tap the socket/seal with a mallet. The main point is to keep everything straight and t

When I did my Calipers for the Sprite, I just laid a piece of steel bar( the lock strap for my tool chest) across the dust ring that i had placed in position. With one sound tap of a hammer to the ce

I've seen several suggestions regarding tapping the CENTER of something laid across the bore - this seems impossible unless you have the two halves of the caliper apart, and I'm sure I read somewhere
