an update and another question. Got the pistons out of my calipers. I noticed that between the two seals there is some rust on the bores. Can I lightly sand/buff this out, or are they toast and I sho

Unlike wheel cylinders, and Dunlop calipers, the condition of the bore is of no importance. (Unless it is very badly pitted or scored) A little bit of rust will not affect the operation of the calip

Thank you Allen, I could always use another shirt! (especially since a few of them got thrown out after Carlisle) Boy did the truck stink from wet laundry and cardboard after a few days to mold. BUT,

Sounds like a cool little device. I'd like to see the plans for it. An assumption is that I'll need to split the calipers. So I'll add that flat caliper washer to the list of things I need. -=Chris P
