Hi list, I am plaining on putting in a stock Cam back into my MG. If I plan to remove the cam with the engine inside I guess I must 1. Remove Radiator 2. Remove Head 3. Remove Front engine Cover 4. R

Yes, you missed a couple of small steps, but you also included one that you don't have to do. You don't have to remove the head. SURPRISE! But you will have to R&R the intake and exhaust manifolds. R

No need to remove the head. Just the rocker arm to retrieve the push rods and tappets. And probably the exhaust and intake manifolds to get to the side covers on the engine to assist in getting out

As you will have to remove the tappet chest covers anyway, the long bolt on the front one is the correct thread and length to remove the dizzy drive. It is the only one I know of on the car (or in my
