I'm looking for input from anyone who has driven a 1275 Spridget with a Kent 276 Camshaft. What was the low end power like? Was there a minimum rpm at which you could not use full throttle without th

Hi Matt, I have the next one up Kent 286. Idle is not slightly lumpy, but real lumpy. Engine will not run below 2K, even off the line. Power band is 3500 to 8000. It really has a kick to it at 3500 R

I used to have the 266 cam in my 1380. It is indeed a very nice street cam. I've gone up to a 286 but only because I use the car in competition (rallies) as well as on the street. BTW, It isn't just

Not sure on which cam is a good for what you want. Let me know when you find out :-) One thing to consider is cam bearings. The 1500 does not have any cam bearings. Some people use a cam shaft and be
