I would take the battery home and charge it, so that you have a full and warm battery to work with. Then I would employ the help of some starting fluid to wake it up. You could crank it for a while

Are you sure the cold is the reason it is not starting? (My 74 Midget starts even in excessively cold weather). Are you getting fuel and spark? If so, check the plugs - if they are soaked with gas,

A couple of options, assuming there is nothing else preventing the vehicle from starting: Get the battery out, thawed, and recharged. This may be difficult as most modern batteries seem to hang up w

i have found that lbc's do not particularly care for extreme cold whenbeing asked to start after long periods of sitting. a warmed up well charged battery is a real must. but in my case you can see t

Yup. Try to clean what you can. I have been driving my BGT a lot lately, and after cleaning the batteries and terminals and all connections, it starts fine every morning in the 20-40 degree garage a

I have often thought about this subject and came to the following conclusions: 1. It is now how cold it is that causes the starting problem rather how long the car has sat in the cold. 2. If the car

Does the A-40 starter spin the engine at the same rpm as the Sprite starters? Maybe you could swap a Sprite starter for the one in the A-40. __________________________________________________________

This, of course, is the essential difference between our cars and the bland majority that have neither character nor soul. Apparently the A40 simply does not like the cold, something I can very well
