i have heard of it being done. but! the possibility of it not reshrinking to securly grab the flywheel and coming loose down the road some time is very real. the sucess of the repair is dependant on

Yes, it can absolutely be done and it works great. I had my ring gear reversed by a hot rod machine shop that does this frequently. Mine was done better than 2 years ago and shows no problems whatsoe
