I think the best thing is a secret switch that enables/disables the fuel pump. It is cheap, easy to install in the MGB and most MGs, and would force a thief to tow the car away. Basically, insert a

On my first sprite I put a switch in line with the ignition wire that went "through the tach". Open the switch and no ignition. I mounted that switch behind the dashboard and it wasn't even visible.

what I did on my sons midget was to run a wire from the overdrive portion of the wiper switch to the tach. when the wiper switch is pushed back it effectively grounds out the neg. side of the coil. a

Good idea Larry, I have battery switch too (only in the Miata & MGB). When I hit both switches, I sleep really well when traveling... You should run an extra line (fused at the battery) for the alarm
