I have recently put my 65 MGB away for winter storage. I was thinking about jacking the car up off the floor and letting the suspension hang for the 6 months. ( oct. to april). My question, how will

It shouldn't affect the shocks at all assuming your check straps in the back are OK and you're bump stops in the front are OK. I'd be more worried about frame warping having the thing off the ground

Why?? The recommendations I've seen all say to keep the car on the ground for short term storage (e.g., winter storage). Besides, I'd worry more about having one of the rebound straps give way while

The lever shocks are actually pistons in a hydraulic fluid. The fluid acts on the piston through an orifice to dampen out any road roughness. There must be fluid on both sides of the piston for the
