- I'm just fininshing up a major renovation of a 74 TR6 and have run into some gasoline problems. When I drive the car then shut it off, the carbs start spitting gasoline out with varying intensities.

- I too have filled my crankcase with petrol. You might check (replace)the needle valves. I had installed new Grose Jets after a carb rebuild and one didn't seat.

- Dave: Two possibilities come to mind. 1) Carb floats and fuel valves. If the car has been sitting a while the needles and seats may have "gummed up." A carb rebuild is in order. At least take the pis
