- by purchasing a set of K&N filters I was able to fit dual HIF4 carbs on my '78 with brake booster without having to shorten the phrenolic spacers. I don;t have the part number off the top of my head

- You could hot-glue them to a piece of wood to use as a handle, then run them through a bandsaw - I'd think that would get a pretty clean cut. I wound up buying the thinner spacers (Moss part 372-325
