Frank, The seat rails themselves were plated with what looks like cadmium. These, in turn and were bolted to a raised painted steel platform/nut holder welded to the floor panels, and also black. A g

Frank, my best info is that the seat rails were not, but the metal ledge was. That's how my car came to me from the PO, but who knows what he did. Larry

I agree with everyone else. The seat rails and slide were cadium plated. The metal shelf in front of the seat was covered with a thin layer of black pigskin vinyl. But not the thick vinyl used in the

OK I went out into the heat and humidity (90 deg and 87 hum) to check under the seats. The vinyl covers the entire rail horizontally and vertically and then extends out about 1/4 inch on top of the f
