- I was just reading an article on the new Shelby Series 1 car and it = mentions that in 1952 Carroll Shelby piloted an MG-TC in his first road = race. He won the LeMans in 1959 with an Aston Martin DB

- Do yourself a favor. Read up on the AC Bristol (and the AC Ace and AC Cobra). The cobra does not just have an LBC influence...IT IS BRITISH!!!

- If I remember correctly (no guarantee of that!), it was a Ford V8-60 (an ancient flathead). My first T-Type MG was a TD with a V8-60. It was poorly done, but a buddy and I got it for next to nothing
