Sorry about the ticket! I use a tacky sealant, like "copper-coat" or others that may be better, to attach the gasket to the valve cover. Of course the gasket is always misshapen and this is easier s

I have found that a generous application of Super Glue will stick the gasket to the valve cover and then you can remove the cover complete with gasket to adjust things inside as often as you want. HT

Has anybody had troble putting on the cast aluminim valve covers? Trying to put it on, it hits the EGR valve. Has anybody modified the valve cover or the EGR valve to fit on the cast cover? Thanks in

I had the very same dilemma. Just 86 the old EGR valve and plug the threaded hole. It's probably long dead and useless anyway. You'll like the cleaner looking engine bay too. Joe Merone CF18928 Get
