Go to an emmissions inspection office and ask for a permanent exemption based on the fact that you cannot get OEM parts for the car any more. They give them to Yugos and the like. I got one for my 80

Early 75's didn't have catalytic converters; later ones did. Break point is sometime in June or July, I think. Catalytic converters are in-line in the exhaust system, connected to nothing else. Part

I believe the break point was Jan 1, 1995 - the date the fed law requiring such falderall went into effect. I think that 75 B's manufactured prior to that date were referred to as 74 1/2 models. Thes

The problem is, that when a OEM part becomes available again, they will cancel your exemption. (oops..) California now gives no exemptions for anything, but when they still did, their practice was to
