Greetings All, I have been following the thread on the changing of the "T" rear end. How fast are you driving with this change ?? I have had trouble with the engine not standing up to 65-70 mph speed

To the best of my recollection, your TD is doing 15 mph per 1000 rpm with the standard 5.125 diff. This should be reduced to 839 rpm at 15 mph with the 4.3, or 3356 rpm at 60 mph. The XPAG may be ha

The 4.3 gears on 165x15 radial tires will cause the engine to rev 3497 at 60 mph. 5.50 original Dunlops 3247 5.60 repro Firestones 3317 I think your tach is reading high. Even with the 165x15 radial

Same here, in a TF-1500. And the XPEG sounds as though it is thrashing along at 5500 when I attempt to stay out of the way of the semis. -Curtis
