- Hi Simon, There's another factor to consider when contemplating changing points and condenser. Condensers come in various grades and sizes. Say the one for your B is supposed to be .18 to .24 micro F

- The various comments about "not changing" the condenser are logical enough but I think I'll start changing them more often. Last summer I had one fail on Manitoulin Island (which is rather remote). W

- I've been running with the same condenser and points for about a year now with no problems. I have them in the trunk in a plastic bag and check them periodically for wear, and have noticed no problem
