First off, those numbers are "Commission Numbers", which differ from "Chassis Numbers" (at least what I refer to chassis is the frame). Actually the Mk1 was first produced in October 1962 and the las

to Cary, information I have indicates that FC22665L was the first Spitfire to be built in Calendar Year 1964. So it would appear that 22241 would've been built VERY LATE in Calendar Year 1963 and sol
