Anybody have the paint code for the Bugeye color Cherry Red. RD4 is the original BMC paint code, but someone is looking for the code usable with contemporary paints. No equivalent on the Midgetsprite

Does it have to be exact? If not, try Porsche Guards Red. Or (the color of FROGGI) a bit more toned down, VW Mars Red.

My '59 Sprite was originally Cherry Red. The underside of the bonnet and most of the engine compartment still have the original paint. Best description is "blue-ish red". DPO painted the exterior BRG

I just took my original BMC code down to finishmasters and they matched it perfectly. But I was able to find a web site that listed BMC codes and matched, dupont, etc. with them. Can't find that site
