On the subject of Chrysler and not having an engine to fit the Tiger....I wonder how much problem it would have been to cut back the bulkhead some, to fit the distributor. Was the Chrysler 273cu wide

Being the owner of a 1973 Valiant daily driver with a 318, I just measured. The outer head to head width of the engine is 20-1/2". Using the narrowest of exhaust manifolds that Chrysler offered you

Paul, Great site... The Chevy small block isn't that far off either. Not being able to get under the hood right now, I can't remember how close to the sides the Ford rocker boxes are. I remember that

Nothing against Paul for providing the site, but my 318 and tape measure don't concur with the sizes posted. On the 318 the outside of the heads actually angle back inward as they rise off the block
