This is not a roadster question, but given the recent discussion of glass cleaning... Anyone have suggestions for stripping off the residue of previously tinted glass? Have begun to remove the mylar

I found the 3M products to be your best bet in removing the adhesive residue. On a warm day (70F), spray on the 3M Woodgrain and Stripe Adhesive Remover. Part Number 051135-08908. Note the word "adh

I took my car to a company that tints and they stripped it for $10, but if you do it yourself and wind up with alot of adhesive residue, 3M makes an Adhesive Stripper (their number 8984) that will do
