Now this might seem like a simple question but I am turning to the list to see how people clean the various electrical contacts in their MGs. I have just disassembled the hazard switch in my Midget (

To clean my troublesome fuse box, I boiled it in a mix of baking soda & water (as suggested by another lister at the time), then took a little sandpaper to rough up the connectors to new, shiny metal

For male terminals I use spray electrical contact cleaner and a coarse cloth; for female terminals I use just the cleaner and install and remove the connector a few times. Rich

Answering my own question I had very good results with a hard pink eraser for the flat metal part of the spring. I was having trouble with the contact pins in the switch housing because there was not
