How much does one of those little stations that the drag racers use to tell temp, pressure, humidity and density? If we had one, could we build a couple of easels to post the hourly data at the start

Hi Dr. Mayf and everybody, This talk about weather has gotten me a little excited because I happen to work at a place that makes weather stations. I've been meaning to ask if the SCTA did any kind of

Henry, thanks for that message. You've touched on something of technical interest and potential practical value here for all us budding Speed Trials tuners. I refer to your $150 weather station that

Glen, that's a good idea, but the data would be useful to the tuner only as changes in your numbers were reported, or for comparison with whatever he had from his own weather instrumentation. Right?

Rick Gold monitors the weather at the ERC trailer and posts it for all to see. The starting line would be a good place, however. I have one of Jeb's computers that gives relative altitude, slugs, et

We will look at the options. Maybe we can place a weather station at the inspection area on one of the trailers. We'll see if they can budget it in. It would be great if we could get Davis Instrument
