- I was overhauling my '66 Alpine's clutch master and slave. All was going well until I realized that the return spring on my master was cracked. That might explain why it wasn't working to begin with.

- This happened to me about 1 1/2 years ago. At that time, I consulted the list as well and, believe it or not, someone referred me to a spring that goes on a Saab that works perfectly. It was about $5

- I don't recall the exact part number, but if you go to your local SAAB dealer and ask them to order you a spring for the clutch master cylinder for a 1980 through 1993 SAAB 900, you'll get a perfect
