You might want to check the short flexible hose to the slave cylinder. It's my understanding that these are prone to deteriorate and possibly cause the problems you are describing. Kurtis J. Russell

If you don't have any obvious leaks I would suspect the master cylinder is bypassing at times. Probably the rubber cup inside. Problem sounds like it is in the hydraulics not the clutch. Pete Hello a
