I found that the fork was bent in mine which caused the need for a longer pushrod....I replaced the fork and what do you know???Shorter pushrod was needed. Heavier springs on the pressure plate cause

Hi folks, The hole in the clutch push rod on my 1098 is elongated by at least 1/8 inch due to wear. I am thinking of filling the hole by brazing and then drilling it out to size. Anyone else "been th

I just make a new one with a torch, hammer, and anvil part of the vice using a long 3/8 bolt. cut the head off, heat it red, beat it flat, and drill a 5/16 hole in it. New pin, cut to fit. -- Frank C

I wouldn't braze. I weld these up when faced with this repair, not only for clutch push rods, but brake and clutch levers as well. Welded with torch or mig is harder, longer lasting. Jim
