My experience of clutch slip is when the friction material wears down and/or the springs are no longer exert enough pressure. This type of problem is more noticeable in top gear. Replace clutch. On t

Not good. No, it won't have anything to do with the hydraulics (which serve to release the clutch) -- the spring tensions the clutch. An oil leak is one possibility -- the other is a worn out clutch
