- OK, probably a dumb question, but I am not knowledgeable about ignition coils and ballast resistors. On my 79 B, the original electronic ignition module and distributor were removed and replaced with

- You will not cause damage to either the coil or ignition by using a 12v coil (which is what yours now probably is) on a ballasted system, but you *will* have a weak spark. This could cause difficult
