Too much gas is the most common cold no-start cause, followed by no-choke, which causes too little gas. Does the choke work? Butterflies closed or enricher plunger up. 1) Don't touch the gas pedal. 2

Actually some ECM's are smarter than a few people I've met. <G> One some fuel injected cars if you open the throttle during crank it causes the ECM to go to what is called clear flood mode, fuel pump

A great way to ensure starting is to take the battery (or batteries as the case may be) out of the car at night, then put them back warm in the morning. It's also a good theft prevention technique. S
