Unless I'm wrong the frame should be the same color as the body. On my blue 66 Spit it is green ( the original color) and on my pearl white 78 parts spit under all that grime it was white. Tod Jones

Chassis were originally coated in a black paint, then bolted to the tub and other body parts. Then everything got color-coated at the same time, so (in effect) the chassis WAS body color. --Andy * *

My brown '78 Spitfire also had a brown chassis. I am sure it was original Tim Suddard/Publisher/Grassroots Motorsports
