I was just thinking...it would be a simple matter to connect a pressure transducer to the compressor outlet and look at the AC-only output. Surge could be detected this way and a wastegate could be

I do not know. Howevver, there are any number of digital controllers. And this is what a waste gate does but is just preset to some specific value. Now let's see, you are measuring the ac component o

With all due respect guys you still don't see the sizing thing correctly. First the biggest compressor for the power output is not the way to go at all it invites surge and seldom puts you in the cen

There are a lot of Dave; I can honestly say My first Bonneville motor was a turbocharged 270 GMC using two Corvair TRW turbos. No sizing to speak of. I knew one was too small so two should be better.

YOU'RE MY KIND OF GUY! I am not being critical of those who want to analyze everything to death, but, i think that sometimes we tend to get so technical that we miss the point of why we are doing th

Yes, that's the point-- no need to open a wastegate either to to a pre-set opening by a controller or use it as a pressure blow-off valve at a fixed boost pressure. By using the "DC" output of a pre
